Today’s News Highlight: The Lagos State Government has received another global recognition as the General Manager of the State Command and Control Centre, Mr. Femi Kennedy Giwa, was honoured with the Public Safety Personality of the Year Award at the 2025 AfriSAFE Awards in Mombasa, Kenya.

This is in acknowledgment of his outstanding leadership in enhancing Lagos’ emergency response systems, public safety coordination, and technology-driven disaster management.

The Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA), in partnership with Raising Stars Africa Foundation, has commissioned four newly upgraded classroom blocks at Aganju Iku Inclusive Primary School II in Okokomaiko, reaffirming the state’s commitment to inclusive education and providing children with disabilities a more supportive, modern, and equitable learning environment.
