LASG News Today: Today’s review highlights key activities that occurred in Lagos State’s development, including a Stakeholders’ Engagement themed “Empowering Voices and Shaping Policies” that brought together Local Government Chairmen, LCDAs, and community leaders to ensure a Greater Lagos where every voice counts. The State is also set to partner with the Local Government Staff Housing Board to expand affordable housing access for local government workers, reinforcing its commitment to employee welfare. On workplace safety, the Public Service Office (PSO) and the Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) institutionalised sexual harassment prevention policies, promoting zero tolerance for Sexual and Gender-Based Violence in the civil service. Additionally, Lagos celebrated local talent as Aminat Adenike Alabi made history as the first Lagosian to win the 10th Lagos Women Run 2025, completing the 10km race in a remarkable 39:25.80, showcasing the State’s dedication to governance, social progress, and community empowerment.
