The Lagos State Governor convened a meeting with the State Security Council to reassess the current security landscape across the state. The gathering brought together top security chiefs and government officials, all focused on strengthening collective efforts to maintain peace and order. The Governor emphasized the importance of proactive engagement, noting that safeguarding Lagos requires continuous evaluation and swift decision-making.



During the meeting, the Governor highlighted that protecting the peace of Lagos is a non-negotiable priority for his administration. He stressed that the state must remain vigilant, especially as Lagos continues to expand in population and economic activity. According to him, effective security management goes beyond reaction—it demands foresight, strategic planning, and coordinated action from all stakeholders.

He commended the honest and open conversations shared around the table, describing them as vital to ensuring clarity in security operations.
