The Lagos State government moved to diversify its tourism portfolio by supporting "The Art of Wellbeing" experience held at the serene Isimi Resort in Epe. Representing Commissioner Toke Benson-Awoyinka, Mr. Emmanuel Benson Okwuokenyen joined high-profile stakeholders to explore the burgeoning sector of wellness tourism.

The event featured a significant partnership with Sterling Bank, represented by CEO Mr. Abubakar Suleiman and Head of Tourism, Ms. Abiola Adelana. The collaboration aimed to promote holistic health as a premium lifestyle offering within the state’s borders.
Participants were treated to an immersive journey that included wellness circuits, artisanal showcases, and culinary experiences. Set against the natural beauty of Epe, the event encouraged guests to reconnect with nature while enjoying wine tastings and curated art exhibitions.
This initiative is part of a broader strategic effort to position Lagos as a leading hub for lifestyle tourism in West Africa. By spotlighting destinations like Isimi Resort, the state aims to provide residents and tourists with spaces to recharge and improve their quality of life.

The successful turnout at the wellness experience signals a shift in the Eko culture toward health-conscious living. The Ministry of Tourism intends to continue such partnerships to ensure Lagos remains a multifaceted destination for both business and rejuvenation.
