Sanwo-Olu Visits President Tinubu, Shares Festive Message with Lagosians

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu spent a portion of the Christmas holiday in the company of the First Family, visiting His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu. The visit, characterized by warmth and mutual respect, underscored the strong ties between the state’s leadership and the presidency during the festive season.


 

Following the meeting, Governor Sanwo-Olu described his time with the President as consistently insightful. He remarked that even during a well-earned holiday break, the President’s energy and mental acuity remain as sharp as ever, reflecting his unwavering commitment to the nation’s progress and stability.


​The Governor also expressed his deep appreciation for the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu. He noted that her graciousness and hospitality made for a wonderful and meaningful conversation, highlighting the importance of family and friendship during the Christmas period.

​Turning his attention to the citizens of Lagos, the Governor issued a heartfelt message of goodwill. He encouraged all Lagosians to use the holiday season to find much-needed rest and to cherish the time spent with their loved ones, emphasizing that community and family are the pillars of a strong society.


The Governor concluded his holiday update by wishing the state a Merry Christmas once again. His visit to the President serves as a reminder of the collaborative spirit required to drive the "Greater Lagos" agenda forward into the coming new year.
