The Light Up Health District II Initiative recorded a major breakthrough as JMG Limited commissioned a cutting-edge Solar Power Solution at the Ketu Primary Healthcare Centre in Agboyi-Ketu. This development underscores Lagos State’s continued efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery through reliable, sustainable, and uninterrupted power supply in primary healthcare facilities.

The newly installed solar system is designed to transform service delivery at Ketu PHC by reducing power disruptions, improving equipment performance, and enhancing patient care outcomes. The intelligent setup features a 10kW hybrid inverter, 18 units of 570W N-Type solar panels with a combined capacity of 10.35kWp, and a 20.48kWh lithium-ion battery energy storage system ensuring consistent power for critical healthcare operations round the clock.


During the commissioning ceremony, the Permanent Secretary of Health District II, Dr. Dayo Lajide, described the installation as a vital stride toward sustainable healthcare infrastructure in Lagos. She noted that the project reflects the State Government’s unwavering commitment to quality service delivery and the modernization of public health facilities. Dr. Lajide also emphasized the need for proper system maintenance to ensure longevity and maximum impact.

The event brought together key stakeholders, including top government officials, traditional rulers, community leaders, and representatives of JMG Limited. Hon. Adetola Abubakar, Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA; HRM Oba (Dr) Isiaka Adio Oyero Balogun, Oba of Ketu Kosofe Land; Otunba Francis Meshioye, Executive Director of JMG Limited; and Mr. Rabih Jammal, Group General Manager of JMG Limited, were among those present to witness the milestone achievement.
