The match was a showcase of exceptional grit, disciplined strategy, and undeniable teamwork, with the LASUBEB players taking control of the pitch early on. Their coordinated effort and relentless offensive drive culminated in a well-executed goal that ultimately sealed the game and electrified the large crowd of supporters present. The triumph not only celebrated their sporting prowess but also mirrored the Board’s foundational commitment to fostering excellence across all facets of its operations.

This hard-fought win serves as a powerful testament to LASUBEB's broader culture of resilience, innovation, and high performance values that are continuously instilled across its workforce and operational mandates. Executive Chairman of LASUBEB, Dr. Hakeem Babatunde Shittu, expressed his profound excitement at the team’s success, emphasising the HOS Games' role as a unifying platform. The competition successfully brought together Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in a spirited display of talent, wellness, and camaraderie.

Dr. Shittu affirmed that the victory was a powerful demonstration of the Board’s determination to lead and excel both on and off the field. He reiterated the Board's core responsibility of providing quality free basic education in Lagos State, but stressed that its commitment extends beyond cognitive development. This win, he noted, validates the Board's holistic approach, which champions initiatives that inspire teachers and learners, elevate morale, and strengthen collaboration and sportsmanship within the public service and public primary schools.
