The Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Infrastructure Asset Management Agency (LASIAMA), officially unveiled the redeveloped BOSKOH Garden at the Main Secretariat Complex, Alausa. This event was doubly significant as it also marked the inaugural Christmas Lights Switch-On Ceremony, establishing a new annual festive tradition for the State Public Service environment.

Ms. Adenike Adekanbi, the General Manager of LASIAMA, stated that the garden’s redevelopment was a rebirth of a once-prominent sustainability landmark that had declined over time. The project was driven by the imperative to preserve its original purpose as a model for greenery and environmental conservation, turning it back into a serene, eco-friendly oasis for relaxation, quiet meetings, and public service engagement.

The transformation was a result of strong inter-agency collaboration with the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure and LASPARK, ensuring that the natural ecosystem and existing trees were preserved. This commitment to respecting nature was a core design principle, underscoring the government's continuity in protecting and improving public assets for the benefit of its citizens and workforce.

The Head of Service, Mr. Olabode Agoro, officially unveiled the garden, commending LASIAMA for its efficiency in asset upkeep and for transforming previously underutilized spaces into civic assets that reflect a modern, vibrant Lagos. He was joined by other officials, including the Special Adviser, Engr. Dr. Olakunke Olayinka, who called the project "a symbol of government's efficiency."

Located opposite the Ministry of Works & Infrastructure, BOSKOH Garden now offers a relaxing repertoire of lawn seating and green walkways. The newly launched annual Christmas Lights Switch-On at the garden will add festive brilliance to the Secretariat, promoting mental wellness, recreation, and environmental appreciation within the public service workforce.
