This innovative platform is a testament to the state's commitment to leveraging technology for critical public services. The Tele-VET Call Center is designed to operate as a central digital hub, providing essential real-time veterinary guidance and professional advisory services. It aims to bridge the gap between animal health professionals and the state's diverse population of livestock farmers and pet owners.

The strategic importance of this center extends directly to core issues of food security and public health. By offering sophisticated disease surveillance support, the platform will enable the rapid identification and containment of potential outbreaks, safeguarding the state's food supply and protecting consumers. This proactive approach is critical in a densely populated urban environment like Lagos.

For farmers, the center represents a crucial resource for improving herd health and productivity, ensuring sustainability within the agricultural sector. Similarly, pet owners gain direct access to expert advice, fostering responsible pet ownership and enhancing the overall well-being of companion animals across the metropolis.
