The Office of Transformation, Creativity, and Innovation (OTCI) hosted its annual Service Charter Awards Ceremony on December 10, 2025, operating under the theme “Service in Action: Recognising Excellence Across MDAs." This prestigious event is dedicated to celebrating Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to delivering exceptional public services to the citizens of Lagos State.

The Director-General, Toyin Anjous-Ademuyiwa, highlighted the new direction of the Service Charter, which is now aligned with the critical principles of the Ease of Doing Business initiative. She stressed the paramount importance of transparency and the constant enhancement of customer experience as essential components of modern public service delivery in the state.

A select group of distinguished agencies were honored for their exemplary service and innovative approaches. The agencies recognized for their dedication to improving public service quality were the Lagos State Health Management Authority (LASHMA), the Land Bureau (which secured two awards), and the Blood Transfusion Service.

The awards serve to underscore how effective, responsive governance can translate into tangible, positive outcomes for the community. The ceremony brought together key stakeholders, including top government officials, representatives from various MDAs, and civil society members, fostering an environment of shared commitment to excellence.
