The Lagos State Government, through the Parastatals Monitoring Office (PMO), on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, convened a One-Day Stakeholders’ Synergy Meeting at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Conference & Exhibition Centre, Alausa, Ikeja. The strategic session aimed to foster deeper collaboration among Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs), Parastatals, and Government-Owned Companies (GOCs) to enhance project execution and governance efficiency.

During the meeting, participants shared insights on aligning operational strategies to improve planning, implementation, and monitoring of government projects. The discussions centered on promoting accountability, transparency, and innovation within the public service to ensure citizens enjoy better service delivery and value for money.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Parastatals Monitoring, Hon. Ibrahim Obanikoro, emphasized the importance of synergy among all arms of government in achieving the administration’s objectives. He noted that effective collaboration would prevent duplication of efforts and ensure that public resources are utilized optimally for the benefit of Lagos residents.

Also present at the event were the Permanent Secretary of the Parastatals Monitoring Office, Dr. Olugbemiga Aina, and the Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, Lagos State House of Assembly (LSHA), Hon. Saad Olumoh. Both commended the initiative, noting that such stakeholder engagements are vital for improving inter-agency communication and promoting a culture of shared responsibility in governance.

The Lagos State Government reiterated its unwavering commitment to efficient service delivery, good governance, and institutional collaboration. By bringing key players together to discuss strategies for better coordination, the state continues to set a standard for proactive governance and performance-driven public administration in Nigeria.
