Education District III has once again affirmed its tradition of excellence by emerging first at the recently concluded “Idije Arinyanjiyan ti Ipele Sekondiri Kekere” competition. The event, organised by the Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, brought together junior secondary schools from across the six education districts in the state to showcase their academic brilliance, creativity, and teamwork.

Representing Education District III, Epe Junior Grammar School delivered an exceptional performance that earned them the overall winner’s position. Their success reflected not only their intellectual capacity but also the district’s commitment to fostering quality education and nurturing young talents across all schools.
At the award presentation ceremony held at the District Headquarters, the Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary, TR. Osinaike Olusegun Olawale, received the students and staff with great pride. He congratulated them for their outstanding achievement and for making Education District III proud once again. Mr. Osinaike praised the team’s determination and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in all their future endeavours.
The TG/PS also extended heartfelt commendation to the teachers and principal of Epe Junior Grammar School for their hard work and dedication. He acknowledged that the school’s success was a result of collective effort and effective guidance, which helped the students prepare and perform impressively at the competition.

In recognition of the teacher’s exceptional mentorship, Mr. Osinaike presented a tablet as a token of appreciation, describing it as a symbol of the district’s gratitude and encouragement. He emphasized that while the students’ performance was remarkable, the teacher’s commitment and passion played a crucial role in achieving the victory, reaffirming Education District III’s mission to continually celebrate and reward excellence at all levels.
