The Grand Finale served as a key platform for the government to underscore the importance of its partnership with the CDAs, acknowledging them as indispensable allies in the state’s development agenda. The Governor, through the Deputy Governor, commended the CDAs for their proactive engagement and for initiating various self-help projects that complement government efforts in improving the quality of life at the local level. This symbiotic relationship is fundamental to achieving the state’s vision for an inclusive and resilient Lagos.

During his address, the Deputy Governor conveyed the Governor's pledge to sustain and increase investment in community-focused infrastructure projects. These efforts concentrate on critical areas such as road rehabilitation, electrification, water supply, and enhanced security in both urban and peri-urban areas. The continued support aims to ensure that development is equitable and reaches every community, fulfilling the government's promise of widespread infrastructural upliftment.

The Governor acknowledged the vibrant communal spirit and active participation displayed by the residents throughout the year, especially in driving local self-improvement initiatives. He assured the communities that his administration would continue to be receptive to their needs and suggestions, reinforcing a model of governance built on consultation and collaboration.
