Ciara’s visit underscored Lagos’ growing reputation as a global hub for art, fashion, and creativity. At the J.Randle Centre, she explored exhibits showcasing the vibrancy of Yoruba history, dance, and storytelling  engaging deeply with cultural custodians who preserve these traditions.

Her presence highlighted the synergy between African heritage and contemporary art, a theme central to Design Week Lagos, which continues to bridge local creativity with international recognition.

Ciara’s visit is expected to inspire more members of the Nigerian diaspora and international community to reconnect with their roots by exploring Lagos’ thriving cultural landscape. Her engagement reflects a broader movement encouraging Africans in the diaspora to rediscover their heritage and contribute to the continent’s creative and tourism industries
