The Lagos State University (LASU) Epe campus has received a major boost with the commissioning of a 550-seater auditorium donated by Mr. Olatunji Bello, Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).
The facility, designed to serve as a hub for academic discourse, cultural exchange, and strategic gatherings, underscores Bello’s commitment to advancing education in Lagos State.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who inaugurated the building, described the project as a “gift of opportunity” to LASU students, adding that it aligns with the state’s THEMES+ Agenda to improve educational infrastructure.
“This auditorium will inspire students to aim higher, enrich the university’s learning environment, and strengthen its culture of excellence,” Sanwo-Olu said, commending Bello for his generosity and service to the state.
The newly commissioned space is expected to provide a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration, fostering innovation and leadership among students for years to come.
