Lagos Primary Healthcare Board Wins Best MDA In Procurement Compliance

The Lagos State Primary Health Care Board (LSPHCB) has been honoured with the “Best Complying MDA” award by the Procurement Planning and Advisory (PPA) Agency at the 2025 Procurement Summit. The recognition highlights the Board’s consistency in adhering to due process and maintaining excellence in procurement operations across the state’s primary healthcare system.

This year’s summit, themed “Understanding the Impact of the New Tax Law on the Procurement of Goods, Works, and Services,” focused on the need for public institutions to adapt to evolving tax and procurement regulations. The event underscored the importance of compliance as a key driver of efficiency, transparency, and improved service delivery in government operations.
While receiving the award, the Permanent Secretary of LSPHCB, Dr. Ibrahim Akinwunmi Mustafa, mni, praised the collective effort of the Board’s staff. He described the achievement as a testament to their dedication, professionalism, and unwavering pursuit of excellence in procurement processes.
Dr. Mustafa also expressed sincere appreciation to Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu; the Director-General of the PPA, Mr. Fatai Idowu Onafowote; and the entire PPA team. He acknowledged their continuous support and commitment to strengthening governance systems that promote accountability and improvement across MDAs.

The LSPHCB reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining high standards of compliance, transparency, and efficiency in its procurement activities.
